This charming spot specializes in mouthwatering traditional dishes, each crafted with a warm, homemade touch that sparks nostalgia and satisfies even the most discerning palates.

From the very first bite, you’ll notice the genuine care in every dish. The Turkey Dinner is a standout—a generous portion of fresh carved roast turkey paired with savory sides like mashed potatoes and green beans, evoking memories of family feasts. Equally tempting are their Prime Rib Mom's Cut, tender and bursting with rich flavor, and the hearty Pot Roast with Roasted Vegetables Dinner, slow-cooked to perfection.

Don’t miss the Steak Sandwich topped with peppers and mushrooms, embraced by a perfectly seasoned au jus that elevates every bite.

My Mother's Restaurant also delights with a diverse salad menu, featuring fresh garden medleys and hearty chef salads, all dressed to your liking—ideal for lighter fare without compromising on flavor. And for pizza and wing lovers, choose from classic toppings on thin or regular crust pizzas paired with wings in various sauces, from mild to honey BBQ or even “Suicide” for the brave, ensuring something for every taste craving.

The ambiance here mirrors the honest simplicity of the food. While the décor might remind you of your grandmother’s cozy kitchen, the warmth and hospitality of the staff make every visit memorable. Customers repeatedly applaud the welcoming service, quick preparation, and spotless, no-frills environment that keeps the focus where it belongs: on the food and experience.

What truly sets My Mother's Restaurant apart is the complimentary homemade bread, served warm with luscious sugar butter—a small luxury that has guests coming back time and time again. The comforting aroma of freshly baked bread alone is enough to make you feel right at home.

Real patrons paint a vivid picture of their experiences: Michael Brewer was delighted to reintroduce his family to the inviting spot, noting the clean and quiet atmosphere alongside a salad bar that kept his kids happily satisfied. Sami Rapp called it a “hidden gem,” praising the food as reminiscent of Grandma’s kitchen, highlighting the pot roast and chicken parmesan as true stars. Joey Ray raved about the pork chops—“the best in the valley,” while Michelle Fowler lauded the steak sandwich as the best flavorful and tender meal she’s had in a long time. First-timer Manual Felix summed it up perfectly: "GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE ‼"

Whether you're craving a hearty homemade meal or a comforting slice of pie—be it banana cream, coconut cream, or peanut butter delight—My Mother's Restaurant embodies the essence of classic American comfort food with genuine warmth. I haven't been here in years. Every time I think of it it's on Sunday and they're closed. I was so excited to remember this place today and actually take my wife and kids there. It was my wife's first time and even though the place just looks old it's quiet and clean and nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the salad bar our kids filled up on honey wheat bread. My wife had the country fried steak and I had the fried cod both of us had the salad bar. We have plenty of leftovers to take home and our full. My son got the dinosaur pepperoni pizza or she was so excited about he didn't want to actually eat. I've gotten so tired of bad reviews there's nothing fancy about this place it was just simple good clean quiet and nice. The menu and the decor have not been updated since the '70s and I love it. They do have beer and wine available as well. We finished it all off with a large piece of chocolate cream pie. So for two dinners a pizza two one trip salad bars drinks and dessert are total was $56. Absolutely amazing.

What a HIDDEN GEM. I seriously could have been back in my grandma’s house and honestly from the decor to the food it might as well have been my grandma’s house. Our waiter was so kind and the food came out hot and quick. The complimentary homemade bread and sugar butter was so good. But the pot roast and chicken parm were the stars.

The steak sandwich was probably the best we have eaten in a very long time. Tender flavorful steak with peppers and mushrooms and a perfect au jus. The location and booths have been through some things but everything is clean and no frills. Service was fast and excellent. If you just want good food with out the frills, this is a great choice.

We finally tried this little spot on Indian School and 19th Ave after seeing it recommended on Reddit, and wow — what a find. We’ve lived in the area forever and somehow never noticed it tucked into that tiny strip mall. We came in the day before Thanksgiving for a birthday lunch and were seated right away. Service was fast and super friendly. The lunch portions were generous without being too heavy — still a bit much for lunch, but in the best way. They don’t offer gluten-free options, but if you’re going to have a cheat day, this is the place. They brought out warm, freshly baked bread with honey butter that was honestly amazing, and we took the leftovers home. The whole experience felt homey and relaxed, and they’re even open on Thanksgiving Day. We’ll definitely be back.
